Mac Miller (real name Malcolm James McCormick) was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who was born on January 19, 1992, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He rose to fame through his mixtapes and went on to release five studio albums before his untimely death on September 7, 2018, due to an accidental drug overdose.
